Explaining the JOSPEL heating and cooling system prototype

As the JOSPEL project is progressing, so is the prototype development of the energy optimizing heating and cooling system that is based on the Joule and Peltier effects.

During the latest project meeting in May, British partner European Thermodynamics presented the latest prototype of the system – a version which included the solution for heating and cooling the seats, dashboard heating and cooling, and the new glove box. The remaining elements will be added in the coming period, so everything can be tested together.

In this video, Lead Mechanical Engineer Tim Perry from European Thermodynamics introduces the various elements in the prototype.
